		<description><![CDATA[The Yin and Yang explains your point very well. The tension between structure and freedom or emergence is very important. It does remind me very much to the structuration theory of Giddens. I think I will start a post about that theory in relation to Enterprise 2.0 soon.]]></description>

Like the Zone defense example, another is the city planner - where a city plan helps setup a super-structure within which people innovate and experiment as the city develops block by block.
